Cyber models in fashion
Couple of years ago nobody even thought about having non human models for their fashion collection representation. And what are we having now? The real army of cyber super models is on it's popularity rise! Don't believe us - Just watch!
Shudu, Zhi, Margot, Koffi - are well-known super models and Lil Miquela, for example, is a popular art project created by Trevor McFedries and Sara Decou. A French luxury fashion house Balmain has introduced their latest collection with the "virtual army" of digitally manufactured models. We can argue if it's cool or creepy, but its newness is a fact!
Shudu was created in 2017 by photographer Cameron-James Wilson and is known as the "world's first digital super model". She has already been working for Fenty Beauty campaigns, editorial shoots for Cosmopolitan and Women's Wear Daily and her latest posts are for cover of Phoenix Magazine. The number of her Instagram followers has already reached 188k.
"Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning", said Benjamin Franklin, and it's so true! In the world of fashion, you can't be successful without being different from others.
